Project Description

Tony joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 1979 at the age of 17. Tony’s first posting was to R.A.A.F Base Richmond for two years, and he then transferred to 34 Squadron, Fairbairn, A.C.T.

Tony finished his tenure after six years with the R.A.A.F. and returned to NSW Tony eventually moved to Queensland in 2010 and decided to become actively involved with the RSL in Queensland.

Tony has been a member of the Caloundra RSL Sub Branch Board, and a secretary of the same board, albeit for a short period of time. Tony was appointed the Chairman of the Sunshine Coast District RSL, ANZAC Centenary Committee in 2012. In 2013 Tony was elected as the Deputy President of the District. In November 2014, Tony nominated and was elected as the President of the RSL Sunshine Coast and Regional District Branch Inc., and was appointed to the RSL Queensland Board of Directors in December 2014.

Tony’s passion is the RSL. He is happy to assist if he can, and endeavours to meet the goals of the RSL to achieve its reason for existence.
