Jason Ryan

Jason provides welfare and claims support to veterans and their families on the Sunshine Coast. His experience working with veterans and their families has given him an insight into the diverse requirements of the veteran community, including the immediate welfare support and referral systems. This include having a thorough knowledge of programs delivered by RSL Queensland such as Financial Assistance, Homelessness, Employment and Education.

Jason has an excellent working relationship with the Sunshine Coast District, Mates 4 Mates, Sunshine Coast Young Veterans and volunteer PAWS. He has an extensive knowledge of key stakeholders on the Sunshine Coast who support the veteran community.

Jason is passionate and committed to making a difference in people’s lives including the veteran community. As a father of two children and an ex ADF member he is aware of the sensitivity and compassion required to work with veterans and their families. He still maintain strong ties to the ADF with friends and family who are past and current serving members.
